Role OverviewIntra Bio is seeking an experienced FP&A Business Partner (Sr. Manager / Associate Director) to join our growing finance team. This role plays a pivotal part in providing financial insights, strategic analysis, and decision support to drive business performance across the company.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, this position combines strong analytical execution with collaborative leadership. Responsibilities include financial planning, creating detailed financial models, and generating accurate financial reports to support decision-making. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing key business metrics, and providing strategic insights to drive financial performance. The candidate will ensure effective budgeting processes and contribute to business growth through financial analysis and forecasting.
HowYou Will Make an Impact
- Serve as a strategic financial partner to cost-center owners, building strong relationships and supporting achievement of departmental goals and key initiatives.
- Review and analyze operating expenses to explain variances, identify trends, and improve forecast accuracy.
- Develop monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analyses, forecast updates, and scenario modeling.
- Support the annual operating plan, long-range forecast, and quarterly re-forecasts.
- Partner with accounting and external FP&A team during month-end and quarter-end close to ensure accurate expense recognition and forecasting.
- Leverage financial systems and tools to manage data, automate reporting, and enhance visibility.
- Translate complex data into strategic insights that inform functional and executive decision-making.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of Intra Bio’s commercial operations, pipeline assets, and market dynamics.
- Provide financial modeling and business case analysis for new investments and initiatives.
- Deliver consolidated reporting and insights to support Executive and Board presentations, corporate performance dashboards, and cost-savings initiatives.
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA a plus).
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience.
- Experience with in life sciences or biotech organizations with commercial operations. Ideally, with Clinical Trial experience.
- Advanced Analytical Skills and experience in Financial Modeling.
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong proficiency with financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills; comfort working with large, complex data sets.
- Experience with SAP Hana and SAC is a big plus.
- Exceptional analytical ability with strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Exposure to international operations a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities.
