We are seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join a fast-growing private equity fund. This role will be critical in managing fund accounting operations, financial reporting, and investor communications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in private equity fund accounting, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities- Oversee the full cycle of fund accounting, including financial statement preparation, capital calls, distributions, and management fee calculations.
- Work closely with third-party fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and partnership accounting principles.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of fund transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of investor reporting, including capital account statements and fund performance metrics.
- Support compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Provide financial insights to internal stakeholders, including the investment and operations teams.
- Optimize internal accounting processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of fund accounting experience, preferably within private equity or alternative investments.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, investment partnership accounting, and private equity fund structures.
- Experience working with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems; experience with Investran, eFront, or similar software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
