MUSIC BOOKING AGENCY INTERNSHIP (UNPAID)

• Location: Playa Vista, CA
• Hours: 10–20 hours per week
• Length: Summer Semester
• Compensation: Academic Credit

A boutique talent agency located in Los Angeles seeks an ambitious intern to assist in maintaining the systems of the booking process for musicians and DJs. The agency handles worldwide bookings for 50+ touring artists, with a focus on electronic music. The ideal candidate must be a team player, have a passion for the music industry, and possess a great work ethic.

• Maintain all shared team resources and research documents (Promoter Grids, Avails, Ticket Counts, Booking Agendas, Tour Itineraries, A&R Grids, etc.)
• Record management, maintain databases, and assist with the overall workflow in concert event planning and organization
• Filing, maintaining inventory, and re-supplying materials as necessary

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Strong organizational, time management, and written/verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy (Mac/PC) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Passion for the music/entertainment industry, ideally within the electronic music space
• Minimum typing speed of 70 WPM
