As part of the Gaming Digital Sales team, we are seeking a Director, Mobile Sales Lead. This role will work closely with the Vice President, Digital Gaming, 3P Platforms (mobile, PC and console) in managing the relationship of our mobile platform partners (Apple, Google, Amazon, and Meta) to secure storefront marketing support, deliver platform insights, and advocate for new merchandising capabilities.

The ideal candidate will be a clear, confident communicator with a passion for building relationships and securing world class support across mobile titles from Activision (Call of Duty: Mobile), Blizzard (Diablo Immortal, Hearthstone), and King (Candy Crush Saga, Farm Heroes Saga). This highly visible role will lead a team that collaborates extensively with internal and external partners, drives strategic insights and navigates ambiguity while executing comprehensive go-to-market plans.

The right candidate will have partner management experience and be detail-oriented with the ability to focus on driving the execution of complex on and off store marketing initiatives across Activision, Blizzard, and King. They will assist internal teams in driving in-game and storefront marketing improvements based on platform insights. The role also requires strong communication skills to manage key internal and external relationships.

  • Lead a mobile-focused team to drive results
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, secure and analyze mobile platform marketing campaigns to maximize revenue and engagement across key marketing beats in a high-impact environment
  • Manage senior level relationships with Apple, Google, Amazon, and Meta, building strong relationships, being a great partner and unlocking new opportunities
  • Translate data and insights to optimize marketing initiatives and adopt in-game improvements to drive engagement, and monetization across all regions
  • Being a collaborative and dependable team player and leader
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maximize platform marketing opportunities for tentpole beats to increase user base and maximize revenue
    • Secure tentpole marketing support for key beats (on/off store marketing, social, co-marketing, push notifications, paid media) for our largest titles
    • Partner with teams to deliver high impact creative formats and provide feedback on assets to maximize exposure and conversion
  • Partner with game teams to integrate new platform touch points to broaden user reach
    • Drive adoption of new platform capabilities across our entire portfolio, analyze the impact, and provide feedback to platforms
    • Deepen partnership with platforms through loyalty programs, new storefront surfaces/apps, and strategic initiatives
  • Elevate existing platform exposure and advocate for additional marketing capabilities
    • Leverage partnership to improve store exposure through regular meetings and business reviews
    • Partner internally to utilize new platform merchandising tools for further visibility and points of sale
    • Advocate for additional platform capabilities to drive increased engagement and monetization
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of partner management experience at leading tech, gaming and/or entertainment company strongly desired
    • 12+ years of relevant (predominantly mobile gaming) experience in account management, go-to-market planning and product adoption with 4+ years of management experience.
  • Applies strong attention to detail and the ability to lead teams, see projects through from beginning to end, drive results while effectively managing stakeholders, fostering collaboration, ensuring alignment and navigating complexities to successfully deliver desired outcomes
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data analysis techniques to draw data-driven actionable insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making
  • Exhibits executive presence to craft and deliver impactful internal and external presentations, engaging diverse audiences to effectively convey complex concepts and insights
  • Possesses experience in the gaming or entertainment industry or an ability to exhibit a deep understanding of the gaming industry from personal experience
  • Experience managing complex internal and external relationships, supporting live ops and/or marketing beats
  • High level of professional integrity, commitment to quality, and respect for a diverse work environment
