We are actively recruiting Senior Geotechnical Engineers (10+ years of experience) to join teams across Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Beaumont
. These are full‑time positions offering structured advancement pathways toward Division Lead, Branch Manager, and Vice President responsibilities. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical expertise, communication skills, and proven leadership capabilities.

Compensation is open to negotiation based on experience, technical competency, licensure, and overall alignment with role requirements. Relocation assistance is available.

A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of work is preferred
; however, candidates may obtain it shortly after hire (within a defined timeline).

Role Overview

You will join an experienced team delivering high‑visibility projects across the Heavy Industrial Division
, including refineries, chemical plants, LNG facilities, commercial buildings, transportation infrastructure, flood control structures, pipelines, and energy projects. The position combines technical leadership, project management, client engagement, and advanced geotechnical analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Engineering
  • Perform and review advanced geotechnical engineering analyses, including foundation design (shallow and deep), slope stability, settlement analysis, and pavement design.
  • Review, stamp, and sign geotechnical reports, proposals, and engineering deliverables.
  • Interpret field and laboratory data to develop site‑specific engineering recommendations.
  • Oversee subsurface investigation programs (drilling, sampling, lab testing).
  • Ensure technical accuracy, constructability, code compliance, and best‑practice application.
  • Provide geotechnical recommendations for industrial and heavy‑civil projects.
  • Develop and review scopes of work, proposals, and complex geotechnical work plans.
Project Management
  • Manage multiple geotechnical projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, coordinating meetings and addressing technical inquiries.
  • Support cross‑disciplinary collaboration with structural, civil, and construction teams.
  • Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers to elevate technical excellence and report quality.
  • Provide guidance to laboratory staff and field technicians.
  • Support inter‑office project coordination and shared resourcing across Texas and Louisiana.
  • Contribute to business development, client relationship management, and practice growth.
Additional Preferred Experience
  • Strong safety focus aligned with the companys safety culture.
  • Proven expertise in deep foundation design, subsurface investigations, and construction QA/QC.
  • Experience with material testing and ACI certifications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PDCA at an intermediate level or above.
  • Ability to support clients throughout the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of professional geotechnical engineering experience with increasing responsibility.
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical emphasis preferred).
  • P.E. license in Louisiana or Texas preferred, or ability to obtain shortly after hire.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of leading teams and projects.
  • Proficiency in standard geotechnical engineering software and analytical tools.
  • Experience with industrial-sector projects is strongly preferred.
