This is a full-time, on-site role for a Party Chief located in San Diego County, CA. The Party Chief will oversee and manage field survey operations, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking. Additional responsibilities include supervising field crews, maintaining equipment and safety standards, interpreting project plans, and ensuring accurate data collection for engineering and land development projects.

• Proficient in overseeing field surveys including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking
• Strong understanding of survey equipment and software, such as GPS, total stations, and AutoCAD
• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering and construction plans
• Ability to manage and provide guidance to field crews effectively
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in field operations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within San Diego County
• Certification as a licensed Land Surveyor (PLS) in California preferred
