DESCRIPTION:

• The Sr. Applications Engineer (Mechanical Engineering) will be responsible for the engineering design of complex linear motion systems the manufacturing industry. Selected candidate will design systems with all components, drawings and BOMs - currently using Solid Works and AutoCAD.

• Candidate will be required to have a strong mechanical engineering and/or mechatronics background with working knowledge of electrical controls, including servomotors and sensors.

• May occasionally accompany Sales Personnel on customer visits to gather technical information and/or present solutions.

• This role is 100% engineering, nothing sales-related other than working with the sales team to help secure new business.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree - Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics

• 5+ years of experience in motion systems design engineering

• Strong working knowledge of electrical controls (servo motors, sensors, etc.)
