The Electrical Reliability Leader is responsible for driving reliability excellence across electrical systems within the mill. This role partners with maintenance, operations, engineering, and leadership teams to implement electrical reliability processes, optimize equipment lifecycle, enhance machine performance, and support a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead development and implementation of electrical reliability improvement processes.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams to strengthen mill-wide reliability.
- Generate procedures and practices to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Execute projects related to equipment access, modifications, and reliability enhancements.
- Track, monitor, and manage maintenance budgets related to labor, repairs, contractors, and reliability metrics.
- Create optimized maintenance plans that extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
- Achieve targeted performance metrics for equipment efficiency and machine uptime.
- Deliver training on Predictive/Preventive Maintenance, RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis), lubrication, and other reliability subjects.
- Provide mentorship to electrical leaders across the mill, including those outside the reliability team.
- Support and drive a strong, team-oriented safety culture.
- Drive employee engagement, collaboration, and accountability across teams.
- Strengthen mill reliability culture through partnership between Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering.
- Foster continuous improvement with a focus on reducing reliability incidents and overall maintenance costs.
- Ensure alignment of team objectives with plant-wide goals through CSA and Balance Scorecard processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in operations, maintenance, or engineering within a paper manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership in safety and team-based environments.
- Strong knowledge of reliability processes, maintenance strategy, and root cause analysis.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and achieve measurable performance results.
- Ability to set clear expectations and hold teams accountable.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, planning, and coaching skills.
