Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
  • California Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license required
  • Minimum of 10 years of public works design experience with an emphasis in transportation engineering (or 14 years of equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of project management experience

The Senior Transportation Project Manager is responsible for leading transportation and roadway engineering projects from planning and design through delivery. This role combines technical expertise, project management, client engagement, and business development within a dynamic public works environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage roadway and transportation engineering projects, including public works and municipal infrastructure
  • Supervise and mentor engineering design teams
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, scopes of work, and fee proposals
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with clients and public agencies
  • Support business development efforts and help grow transportation design services
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and agency requirements
