Role PurposeLead the definition, development, and industrialization of battery pack assembly processes, ensuring safety‑critical robustness, quality performance, and scalable manufacturing readiness in support of an advanced vehicle program and greenfield manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Define battery pack assembly process architecture, including material handling, joining, sealing, and end‑of‑line testing.
- Develop and maintain Process FMEA (PFMEA) and Control Plans, with a strong focus on safety‑critical and high‑voltage characteristics.
- Support digital manufacturing validation, including virtual builds and early process verification.
- Prepare early manufacturing readiness documentation to support equipment selection, facility requirements, and phased execution.
- Ensure alignment between product design, manufacturing capability, safety requirements, and quality targets.
- Support pilot builds, launch execution, and production ramp‑up.
- Support structured cross‑functional change‑management and escalation for high‑impact technical changes.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering, Electrical, Quality, Supply Chain, and Construction teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Experience in battery, high‑voltage, or advanced assembly manufacturing engineering.
- Experience in EV manufacturing, energy storage systems, or safety‑critical production environments.
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing, virtual build, or process simulation tools.
