A growing defense and technology company voted Top Workplace in Greater St. Louis for multiple years is looking for a full‑time Senior Test Engineer to join their team in Bridgeton, MO. Required Skills & Experience
  • B.S. in engineering or equivalent: 5+ years’ test engineering experience
  • Understanding/test design using MIL STD 810G, MIL STD 461E (military standards)
  • Hardware & Software Testing experience
  • Experience with precision test, measurement devices, and sensor selection
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Onsite 3 days per week
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work well in a team environment as well as independently with little day‑to‑day guidance
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Fluency in technologies and application domain
  • Ability to lead a technical group independently
What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown
  • 40% Java
  • 20% Python
  • 40% Windows OS
Daily Responsibilities
  • 20% Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems (with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or software components)
  • 15% Determine how to create processes to best test a product in order to assure that the product meets applicable requirements and specifications
  • 15% Lead the design and development of test programs to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services
  • 15% Write test plans and procedures to evaluate the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications
  • 15% Design and setup instrumentation for measuring test parameters, e.g. strain, pressure, acceleration, temperature, etc.
  • 10% May use computer‑aided engineering or other design/analysis software to design vibration fixtures, design test cells and layouts, and design support equipment to conduct testing
  • 10% Provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel
