Under general direction, performs assignments requiring application of Industry standard Configuration Management practices and principles supporting development and production environments for multiple programs.
Essential Functions- Perform configuration management duties verifying various types of Design, Product Definition and Operations data including verifications and management of Class I and Class II engineering changes for and accuracy including: configuration identification, bill-of-materials, relationships and affected documents.
- Perform Data Management Activities by supporting programs with contract data deliverables to external customers, as well as supporting management of data with suppliers.
- Participate in preparation for and leadership of Configuration Control Boards.
- Represent Configuration Management within cross-functional teams providing guidance and support for configuration management practices, principles, policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of Configuration Management practices and principles and knowledge of ISO
10007 and EIA
649 required. - Knowledge of PTC Windchill
- CMII or CMPIC certification
- Knowledge of design, development and manufacture of mechanical and electrical systems
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the state of California is $75,000 - $139,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
