EFK Moen, LLC, a civil engineering design consulting firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Missouri and/or Illinois for a full‑time position in our St. Louis office. The role offers a locally competitive salary ($65,000–$80,000) and a comprehensive benefit package.

The Professional Land Surveyor will interface with field staff, managers, engineers, and external clients to support surveying efforts of all types and the daily operation within the Survey Department. This is primarily an in‑office position with occasional field work as needed. Project emphasis is transportation engineering design for public and private sectors.

• Manage projects to ensure timely and budgeted completion.
• Coordinate and provide expertise related to field survey crews and office staff.
• Review and certify completed survey work.
• Prepare accurate computer‑drafted surveys, plats, topographic surveys, engineering surveys.
• Research and prepare land descriptions and maps in accordance with applicable standards.

• Bachelor of Science in Surveying Engineering, Land Surveying, or Construction Management with a land surveying specialization, or certification as a Professional Land Surveyor in Missouri and/or Illinois.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Micro Station.
• Capability to perform mathematical computations and calculations.
• Ability to review plats, maps, reports, descriptions, surveys, digital map models, etc.
• Competence to understand and interpret plans and resolve boundary surveys.
• High level of personal integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
• Proficiency with general office software.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Capacity to develop and maintain effective working relationships with leadership and coworkers.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Project management experience.

• Primarily office work with occasional field work.
• Ability to type and use a computer for extended periods.
• Visual acuity for extended use of electronic documents and software.
• Ability to walk, stand and sit for extended periods.
• Strong physical ability to walk long distances, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• Demonstrated flexibility, agility, and hand dexterity to operate equipment/tools.
• Willingness to endure various weather conditions and possible exposure to poisonous plants, insects, snakes, and animals.
• Ability to commute and/or travel long distances and/or stay overnight at project locations for extended periods.
