Join to apply for the Regional Environmental Engineer role at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
As a Regional Environmental Engineer (REE), you will be responsible for environmental compliance at AWS data centers in Missouri. You will develop standards and policies to support regulatory compliance, conduct environmental performance analysis, establish and monitor metrics, and guide teams in implementing Amazon environmental standards. You will provide guidance and build effective relationships with internal and external partners, including government entities, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
The position is based in New Florence, MO and may require travel throughout the state.
- Manage and oversee compliance with environmental regulations and Amazon policy.
- Drive an environmentally responsible culture within the organization.
- Ensure work performed by contractors, consultants, and employees is completed in accordance with Amazon standards.
- Develop environmental metrics to measure, monitor, and forecast performance.
- Conduct thorough and accurate environmental audits for continuous improvement.
- Prioritize andISS.Manage multiple technically complex assignments concurrently.
- Represent Amazon at appropriate levels with governmental agencies and throughout the company.
- Build collaborative relationships with various stakeholders to identify and manage risks early.

- Conduct environmental incident investigations, submit regulatory reports, and develop corrective action plans.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience Developing and implementing.modified environmental compliance programs, including regulated waste, water, and air regulations.
- 5+ years ofবর regulatory and risk management experience.
- BA/BS degree in chemistry, chemical or environmental engineering, or related field of study.
- Broad knowledge of US environmental regulations.
