LAUSD Design Manager (Simplex Construction Management, Inc.)

We are currently looking for a Design Manager (LAUSD CM-DM-0126-01) for our contract with Los Angeles Unified School District.

Location:

Los Angeles, CA (Southern California onsite). No relocation funds, no per diem.

Employment type:

Direct Hire. Salary Range: $182K - $203K (good faith estimate; actual compensation depends on qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities).

• Minimum 10 years full time paid professional experience managing the facilities design, or the planning and coordination of capital projects that includes overall design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling activities.
• 5 years of this experience must be with the design, planning and construction of educational facilities or similar public agencies.

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering.

• A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California State Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors such as individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
