This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedication and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin’s vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth. As part of a small, hardworking, diverse, accomplished and constantly evolving team of experts, you will work on multiple prototype development projects, operating specialized equipment to cut various materials to specific shapes and sizes for major launch vehicle structures, secondary structure, and other various spaceflight systems.

** Responsibilities:
*** Operating Waterjet to perform cutting, shaping, and profiling of various materials according to blueprints, written procedures, and engineering models, work orders, drawings, specifications.
* Review work orders, blueprints, or CAD files to decide the appropriate cutting specifications and techniques.
* Set up and load materials on the machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping.
* Monitor and adjust cutting parameters, including speed, pressure, and delivery system, performing necessary maintenance and repairs.
* Conduct regular inspections of cutting heads, nozzles, and abrasive delivery systems, maintain and repair if/when needed.
* Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine performance, tooling, or cutting process, raising complex problems to the supervisor.
* Adhere to production schedules and meet assigned deadlines for the completion of waterjet cutting tasks.
* Document work activities, including material usage, machine setup details, and production quantities, accurately and timely.
* Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
