Skills Required:

• Knowledge and demonstrated use of Pro Engineer Creo, Baan and Coupa are highly desirable.
• Requires a manufacturing background plus familiarity with manufacturing processes used to produce tooling, components and assemblies and knowledge of shop operations and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with engineering practices & process planning, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) (interpretation of drawings, tooling concepts, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Functional Test, etc) and technical product knowledge (including metallurgy) are required.
• Strong analytical problem – solving skills, ability to use and communicate statistical and problem solving tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires well developed interpersonal skills in dealing with sensitive issues, the ability to developing cross functional business processes both inside and outside of Solar while maintaining and promoting the highest level of professionalism and business ethics.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Tools and Techniques of 6 Sigma methodology.
