Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in semiconductor industry design, including new product development, CAD modeling, BOM creation, and manufacturing support. The role involves concept creation, detailed design, working with large assemblies, preparing manufacturing drawings, and collaborating directly with clients. Strong knowledge of GD&T, sheet metal and machined components, PDM/PLM tools, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Perform NPD (New Product Design) including concept creation, detailed design, CAD modeling, and drawing.
  • Work with large assemblies in Creo using simplified reps.
  • Prepare manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and adhere to drawing standards.
  • Provide design solutions for new concepts and support procurement of new parts.
  • Attend client meetings and collaborate cross‑functionally.
  • Apply GD&T, sheet metal, machined component knowledge, and follow manufacturing best practices.
  • Travel when required for project or client needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience with Creo and AutoCAD for mechanical design.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, DFMA, and semiconductor domain (preferred).
  • Experience using PLM/PDM tools such as Enovia and Windchill.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for sheet metal and machined parts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools (Visio, Publisher, etc.).
