We’re hiring a Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to lead projects from estimate through closeout. If you’re detail-oriented, experienced, and ready to take charge in a growing, team-focused environment, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do Preconstruction & Estimating- Estimate a range of electrical projects, including commercial, industrial, public, private, and design-build.
- Perform takeoffs and prepare detailed cost breakdowns using estimating and construction software.
- Review drawings and specs; compare vendor/sub quotes to ensure scope accuracy and alignment with plans.
- Draft clear, professional scope letters outlining inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications.
- Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and meetings as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to confirm pricing, availability, and lead times.
- Submit complete, accurate, and timely estimates.
- Support electrical engineering/design-build consultation when required.
- Manage projects from award through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, labor, and schedule.
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure clear handoff and seamless execution.
- Communicate key project information—including material needs, labor hours, and timelines.
- Track and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals in a timely and organized manner.
- Monitor progress, address challenges proactively, and maintain accountability across the team.
- Support job closeout with completion of punch lists, final documentation, and customer follow-up.
- Ensure all work meets Rolwes Electric’s standards for safety, quality, and professionalism.
Electrical Journeyman License
, a 4-year engineering degree, or an equivalent combination of technical training and licensed experience.
3+ years of experience in electrical estimation and project management.
Proven ability to perform takeoffs, prepare accurate estimates, and price change orders and related project work.
Strong understanding of electrical codes, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Experience with estimating and construction software required;
Conest and Bluebeam preferred.
Excellent communication, computer, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and accountability.
