Construction Manager, Heavy Haul

Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long‑term, low‑cost provider of American‑produced liquefied natural gas. With two Louisiana‑based export projects, the company serves global demand for North American natural gas and supports the long‑term development of clean and reliable energy supplies.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Haul Construction Manager to join our dynamic team in Cameron, Louisiana. The role involves managing logistics of transporting large and heavy equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.

• Plan and coordinate projects, creating detailed lift and transport plans and scheduling resources such as specialized trailers, cranes, and personnel.
• Oversee daily operations of heavy haul and lifting activities, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, DOT) and industry standards.
• Address unexpected challenges (weather, terrain, equipment) and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
• Monitor budget and timeline progress, report to clients and management, and take corrective actions to prevent delays and cost overruns.

• BS in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Piping Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent work experience in a construction supervisory role.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial construction of gas processing plants.
• Proficiency with transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment specifications, crane operation, rigging, and heavy haul equipment capabilities and limitations.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols for heavy lifting and transport.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
