Youth Summer Intern

Our church… is a non-denominational multi-site church with four St. Louis-area campuses where we gather each weekend to study this ancient story found in Scripture that is still transforming lives today. We believe church should be a place where believers in Jesus and skeptics can stand side-by-side to study truth and ask tough questions. We blend teaching and worship with art and technology to create a service where you can experience the message of Jesus in practical and life-changing ways.

is a full-time summer position is designed for anyone looking to be a part of Youth Crossing. YC Summer interns will get a chance to learn from an experienced Youth Pastor and serve alongside a dynamic team. There will be some manual labor, some relational work, some leadership opportunities and everything in-between. This position also provides opportunities for spiritual and personal growth as part of the summer internship.

The summer internship runs from May 26, 2026 through July 31, 2026.

• Assist with all preparation needs for Youth Crossing nights
• Plan and execute weekly Youth Crossing games and post-service fun
• Participate on planning team and attend YC Summer Camp
• Participate in fall semester planning meetings
• Purchase all needed materials for games, small groups, and post-service events
• Attend youth team meetings and trainings
• Complete required reading and learning assignments

• High school graduate
• Strong work ethic, energetic, dependable, and reliable
• Trustworthy, humble, teachable
• Ability to interact with all kinds of people in a consistent, pleasant, loving, and helpful way
• Good time-management skills

• Attend a service at one of The Crossing campuses on a weekly basis
• Passionate about their relationship with God
• Baptized after making the thoughtful decision to follow Christ
• Regard the Bible as God’s final authority in all areas of Christian life and desire to be wholly obedient to it
• Wholeheartedly affirm The Crossing’s Statement of Faith, including our view on Baptism
• Live a lifestyle consistent with scriptural principles
