Instrumental and Vocal Music Tutors - EOI

Caulfield Grammar School is an internationally recognised, independent, co‑educational school committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities from Early Learning through to Year 12. With over 3,700 students across four campuses and our Student Experience Programs in Yarra Junction and Kakadu, Caulfield Grammar strives to enable quality learning every day, in every experience, for every learner, for life.

Our Music Program continues to grow, with record music student enrolments and a strong culture of performance and participation across our campuses. Students benefit from rich opportunities including ensembles, concerts and events, and specialist experiences such as our Artists in Residence program, featuring workshops and masterclasses across the school.

The Role

Caulfield Grammar School’s Music Program seeks to establish and nurture a lifelong love of music in our students through teaching, performing, listening and appreciating the value of music in everyday life.

With an all‑year‑round, multi‑faceted instrumental and vocal program, we are seeking expressions of interest from music tutors interested in joining our team on a casual basis across multiple campuses. There is scope to contribute to the wider music program, including participation in the ensemble program, sectionals and instrument‑specific ensemble development (where applicable).

Tutoring allocations are based on student enrolments and availability. We aim to schedule tutors on one campus where possible. The ability to travel between campuses on different days is desirable, but not essential.

Expressions of Interest

Ready to make an impact? We would love to hear from passionate music tutors who want to be part of a thriving, values driven music community. Submit your expression of interest and tell us which instrument(s) you teach and which days and hours you are available to work.

Please note this is an expression of interest only. We will contact suitable applicants when vacancies arise, and all applications will be considered for future opportunities.
