Geography and Travel Expert

• Expected Commitment: 10–40 hours per week

We are hiring for one of our clients seeking experienced Geography and Travel Experts to support a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving geographic reasoning, travel planning intelligence, and culturally grounded location-based analysis in advanced language models.

This is a multilingual opportunity.

We are specifically seeking professionals with strong written proficiency and demonstrated engagement in one or more of the following languages:

Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.

This role requires more than translation ability. Candidates must demonstrate sustained, hands‑on involvement in geography and travel within their linguistic and cultural context — including familiarity with destinations, transportation systems, travel norms, geographic terminology, tourism trends, and local customs.

You will create, evaluate, and refine geography‑and travel‑related prompts and responses to improve model accuracy, realism, and cultural authenticity. The work focuses on structured evaluation, factual grounding, and scenario‑based reasoning.

• Author realistic geography and travel prompts covering destination analysis, itinerary planning, cultural norms, transportation logistics, climate considerations, and regional comparisons
• Review AI‑generated responses for factual accuracy, feasibility, and cultural authenticity
• Write high‑quality human‑authored “gold standard” responses for nuanced travel scenarios and multi‑city planning
• Create controlled prompt variations testing seasonality, budget constraints, transportation options, traveler preferences, and logistical considerations
• Evaluate outputs across different tones (advisory, informative, conversational, technical)
• Identify geographic inaccuracies, outdated information, unrealistic itineraries, or culturally inappropriate recommendations

• 2+ years of sustained engagement with geography and/or travel (e.g., extensive travel, travel writing, itinerary planning, cultural research, participation in geography communities)
• Strong written proficiency in at least one of the listed languages
• Deep familiarity with regional geography, transportation infrastructure, customs, and travel trends within your language ecosystem
• Ability to clearly articulate location‑based insights and travel logistics
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail

• Published travel content (blogs, guides, articles, or research)
• Academic or professional background in geography, tourism, cultural studies, or international studies
• Experience evaluating factual or structured content
• Fully remote with flexible scheduling
