Our Lady of Grace School is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and professional Spanish Teacher for the  school year. Candidates should have an admirable commitment to the arts and academic excellence. The position is full time and will include working alongside a talented team of faculty and staff to bring an appreciation for world languages and cultures to students in grades Preschool – 8.

The candidate inherits a well-defined Spanish curriculum at the school and will be expected to build upon that program. In addition, the candidate must be a team player who is willing to collaborate with other teachers to continually enhance our program and who works to engage students with dynamic and challenging lessons. The candidate must be very well versed in the effective use and integration of educational technology in the daily Spanish curriculum.

• A lived Catholic faith
• A California credential and/or a Masters in Education (or related field)
• A professional, positive, and engaging demeanor
• Very well versed in the use of educational technology
• At least 3 years of experience teaching Spanish in an elementary and/or middle school
• Preferred: at least 3 years of teaching experience in Catholic schools

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
