Sports and Wellness Coordinator
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a seasonal, part-time position (September 2025-June 2026) up to 19 hours per week. The hourly rate is $25-30, commensurate with experience.
JOB SUMMARY: The Lead Gymnastics Instructor will execute lessons and skill development plans while providing input for enhancing workouts. Additionally, the lead instructor will help with gymnastics programming and activity support such as retrieving supplies and equipment, setting up and breaking down equipment, and directing participants during events. Candidates must be willing to work flexible after-school hours or Saturday mornings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience as head coach or assistant coach for a team/program of similar or larger size.
- Experience in related fields (sports, coaching, childcare, camp counselor) is preferred, but not required. Training is available.
- Ability to converse with caregivers pleasantly and effectively.
- Previous experience working with children is a must.
- Certification in CPR/first aid or willing to be certified.
