The College of Nursing at California Baptist University invites applications for a full‑time tenure‑track position in the Master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
California Baptist University, an evangelical Christian university affiliated with the California Southern Baptist Convention, invites applications for the following faculty position. Candidates must embrace the mission of California Baptist University and evidence a clear understanding of, and commitment to, excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service through the integration of the Christian faith and learning.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service activities that support the mission of the College of Nursing and the University. A doctoral degree in the field indicated is required.
Pay RangeThe compensation for this appointment will range from $90,000 – $105,000 annually and reflects what California Baptist University reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment. A master’s in nursing and doctorate degree with demonstrated teaching experience in a graduate nursing program required. A candidate with APRN nurse practitioner credentials is preferred. The ideal candidate has teaching experience in research, applied biostatistics, &/or health policy, and advising doctorate students projects. Candidates must have an unencumbered California registered nurse license.
Teaching ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities include classroom and practicum teaching in nursing programs. The faculty member will participate in course and program development, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, the faculty member will make site visits to healthcare agencies hosting practicum sites in order to assess and evaluate the implementation of the curriculum and teaching/learning activities in accord with accreditation and state regulatory standards and requirements.
