Instrumental Music Teacher

Job Title: Hourly Elementary Instrumental Music Teacher;
Organization: Coronado Unified School District;
Location: Coronado, CA;
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m.;
Two days per week at Village Elementary School;
Two days per week at Silver Strand Elementary School;
Serving students in grades 2–5;
Compensation: $60.00/hour.

• Teach foundational instrumental music skills to elementary students.
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that foster musical growth.
• Prepare students for group performances and showcase opportunities.
• Build a welcoming, inclusive environment for young musicians.

• Experience teaching instrumental music to children (preferred).
• Proficiency with one or more instruments; ability to teach multiple instruments is a plus.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• No teaching credential required—passion and experience are key.
