Job Overview

Testing Proctor for Southern University Laboratory School students. Training dates: ACT Training February 24, 2026; ACT March 10, 2026; LEAP Training March 31, 2026; LEAP April 20-24, 2026. Site:
University of Louisiana Monroe.

Responsibilities
  • Administer Louisiana State assessments at assigned testing sites in Louisiana.
  • Attend required online training sessions and Test Administrator meetings.
  • Read State and School Test Administration Manual and Test Administrator Directions for all tests administered.
  • Travel to test sites within assigned route. Set up tables, chairs, and computer lab. Maintain and confirm equipment is up to date and in working order. Sign students into the test site.
  • Read test scripts and follow all Louisiana State Test Security policies and procedures.
  • Actively monitor students while they complete assessments. Personal electronic devices are prohibited during testing.
  • Provide and maintain a safe and orderly testing environment.
  • Respond to various emails from Southern University Laboratory School within 24 hours prior to test date.
  • Take classroom attendance and report absences to site coordinator.
  • instructions to students and answer questions.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and web proficiency.
  • Ability to travel to testing sites as needed.
  • Clear required background check.
