Position Summary:The Compliance Coordinator performs varied complex work related to NCAA, conference and university regulations and related rules education.
Key Responsibilities:Compliance Systems Management, Regulatory Reporting, and Data Confidentiality – 25%
- Manage Compliance Software Systems and keep policy and process adherence up to date, as well as relevant records.
- Provide data for various NCAA and federal annual reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information provided by student athletes (i.e. academic and medical records).
- Serve as liaison to student‑athletes regarding admissions, orientation, registration, and campus housing
- Maintain database for information sharing between admissions, housing, and coaches
- Review transcripts of prospective student‑athletes to assess admissibility and eligibility
- Monitor NCAA eligibility and athletics aid, manage processes and coordinate efforts between FAR, Eligibility Center, Registrar, and Office of Financial Aid.
- Work with the Admissions Office, CCAA and GNAC compliance officers, the NCAA and other universities to resolve compliance concerns.
Serve as the university's primary contact for all NCAA compliance‑related issues and questions. Monitor and report on the program's performance relative to rules and regulations (including Title IX).
