BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups of severely handicapped students in a classroom; monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; assist students in developing various self-help, social and community skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and some experience working with children or individuals with disabilities. Must be at least 18 years of age.
CERTIFICATE:
This position requires the SCOE Para Proficiency Test certificate or other qualifying document: NCLB/ESSA certificate, CBEST, or transcripts showing 48 college units or date AA Degree or higher degree was awarded. ATTACH A COPY TO YOUR APPLICATION.

Tuberculosis Clearance;
Drug Screen clearance;
