Job Summary

Under the direction of an assigned administrator, provide a special education classroom for severely handicapped students to instruct and demonstrate essential skills and information necessary for functioning as independently as possible.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Copy of valid California teaching credential authorizing service to severely handicapped students OR appropriate intern‑eligible letter from college/university OR intern program status letter, clearly stating what applicant is eligible for.
  • Copy of CLAD certification or English Learner Authorization.
  • Copy of Transcripts (RECOMMENDED).
  • Letter of Interest.
  • Resume.
  • Letter of Recommendation(s); AB 2534: PREVIOUS CERTIFIED EMPLOYMENT MUST BE LISTED BY DISTRICT, INCLUDING SUBSTITUTE TEACHING.
