Adjunct Instructor of Health/ Physical Education

This part‑time teaching position will commence in the spring 2026 semester. The schedule varies with class timing, typically Monday‑Friday between 8 am and 5 pm.

• Teach day, night, and online courses as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance/participation and grades.
• Complete Canvas training.
• Recruit and advise students.
• Assist students with job placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Special Assignments:
May be required to assist the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

• Master’s degree in Health, Physical Education or related field, or equivalent with 18 graduate hours.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency with campus resources, software and learning management systems.
• Ability to exercise discretion, sound judgement, and adjust to change.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Skilled in monitoring, mentoring, evaluating, and developing policies.
• Problem‑solving aptitude, effective teamwork with administration, faculty, and students.
• Willingness to market the program to diverse potential students.
• Commitment to teaching excellence and enthusiasm for teaching.
• Proficient in using technology to enhance instruction.

Prior teaching experience.
