The College of Arts and Sciences at Xavier University of LA seeks qualified applications in all discipline areas in which the College offers a degree for part‑time (adjunct) faculty members. Please see the 2024‑2025 University Catalog for a listing of programs. Teaching responsibilities include classroom and/or online settings. Part‑time faculty are hired by the Department and the College on a semester by semester basis as needed.

While applications will be continuously accepted, there may not be a need for your particular area at this time. Department heads will search the applicant pool as hiring needs arise. Contact the department directly should you have questions about your application.

• Related occupational experience.
• Knowledge of recent trends and developments in the field.
• Master’s Degree in Discipline or Master’s Degree in related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Discipline.
• Applicants must have a degree in the discipline and or graduate credit hours from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

• Previous teaching experience in higher education.
