Dexter Public Schools is seeking applicants for Assistant Principal at Southwest Elementary for the 2026 - 2027 school year. This school houses our Pre‑K through 2nd grade students.
Job qualifications for the elementary school assistant principal include the following:- Preference given to administrative and/or teaching experience in the elementary grade levels
- A valid Missouri elementary principal’s certificate
- Required Master’s degree and pursuit toward a Specialist’s degree expected
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
This position is a 191‑day contracted employment, following the school calendar for holiday observances. The index is based off of the teacher salary schedule commensurate with degrees and years of experience and a factor of 1.45.
