Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for an Elementary School Teacher at Heritage Private Elementary School, located in Carmichael, CA. We are currently hiring for Preschool, and 2nd‑5th Grade. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, developing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum, managing the classroom environment, assessing student progress, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
The role also involves fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for student needs and maintaining academic excellence.
We are immediately hiring for Preschool Teacher and plan to hire staff for grades 2‑5 in the following months.
Qualifications
- Experience in Curriculum Development and Elementary Education
- Proficiency in teaching and delivering engaging and age‑appropriate lessons
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- A degree in Education or a related field (required)
- Current teaching credential or certification preferred
- Experience with developing inclusive practices and addressing diverse learning needs
- Understanding of educational best practices and ability to adapt teaching methodologies
