Job Summary

. The ideal candidate will integrate scientific inquiry with a faith-based perspective, fostering both critical thinking and moral responsibility in students.

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
• Integrate Catholic values into classroom discussions and scientific topics where appropriate (e.g., stewardship of the Earth, ethical science).
• Foster a safe, respectful, and disciplined classroom environment grounded in Gospel values.
• Assess student learning through formal and informal assessments, and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in school-wide liturgies, prayer services, and faith-formation activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and school community.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development, and school functions as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or related field
• Previous experience teaching middle school students preferred.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing (preferred, especially for faith formation responsibilities).
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
