Salary: $17.68 – $21.55 per hour (Step 4 maximum $18.76/HR)
Employment Type: Part Time – 181 days/year, 5 days/week, 6½ hours/day (8 AM – 3 PM)

Assist a fully credentialed teacher under the direction of the Superintendent/Principal by performing a variety of instructional activities, conducting intensified learning experiences, and carrying out routine clerical and supportive tasks.

• Assist in the conduct of intensified learning experiences.
• Perform routine clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.
• Participate in a variety of instructional activities and perform other related duties as required.

  • Proof of high school graduation
• Experience:
  
  One year paid or volunteer experience working with multi‑age groups of children.
• Education:
  
  Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by training or coursework in child growth and development, instructional technology, or a closely related field.
• Certification:
  Pass the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) assessment; a valid California teaching credential or a passing score on the California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST) may be accepted in lieu of the aide proficiency test.
• Conditions of employment:
  
  • Insurability by the district’s liability insurance carrier.
  
  • Employment contingent upon fingerprint and background clearance and a recent negative tuberculosis test result.
