QualificationsCandidate must hold valid teaching certification (Master’s Degree preferred) and 5+ years’ teaching experience in elementary grades.
Required Knowledge- Broad knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
- Knowledge of research and evidence-based instructional strategies.
- Self‑directed, well‑organized, collaborative leadership skills, highly motivated.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with staff.
- Ability to design and present high‑quality professional development.
- Experience and training in evaluating data to drive classroom instruction.
The Instructional Coach will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to strengthen instructional practices and improve student learning outcomes in grades 5-6. This role partners with teachers through non‑evaluative coaching practices such as co‑planning, modeling, observing, and providing reflective feedback aligned to curriculum and instructional priorities. The coach will support teams in analyzing student data, implementing effective instructional strategies, and responding to the diverse academic needs of learners.
The Instructional Coach will facilitate and support Professional Learning Communities, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and model effective instructional practices. This position requires strong communication skills, a collaborative leadership mindset, and a commitment to building collective efficacy among staff.
The Reeds Spring School District is located 30 minutes from Springfield on beautiful Table Rock Lake. The district serves the communities of Reeds Spring, Branson West, Kimberling City, Cape Fair, and Indian Point. In addition, the school district operates on a four‑day school week, and we have a competitive salary schedule and benefits.
