The School of Natural Sciences anticipates hiring full and part‑time lecturer positions to teach the following subjects in AY 2025–2026:

• Biology Today
• Cancer Genetics and Tumor Biology
• Cells, Tissues and Organs
• Introduction to Organismal Biology
• General Virology
• Introduction to Molecular Biology
• Math Modeling for Biology
• Microbial Evolution
• Molecular Basis of Healing and Disease
• Molecular Immunology
• Nutrition
• Object Oriented Programming for Biology
• The Cell
• Other courses as needed

In addition to teaching, the instructor will evaluate student work and exams, calculate and post grades, and hold weekly office hours.

This is a limited‑term appointment under the Lecturers Unit agreement between the University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Appointments for AY 2025/2026 and/or Fall 2025 semester are reviewed in April, and for Spring 2026 semester in October. The posting will remain open through February 2026.

• Advanced degree in Biology or related field and experience teaching at the college or university level is required.
