MS Head Scholar Bowl Coach

The Macon R-1 School District is seeking applicants for the position of MS Head Scholar Bowl Coach for the  school year. The coach will organize, train, and mentor a team of students to prepare for academic competitions.

The coach will foster a positive learning environment that emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, academic excellence, and sportsmanship.

Candidates must have or be able to attain an appropriate Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate.

Qualifications: Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. Ability to organize practices, develop team strategy, and prepare students for competitive academic tournaments. Must have a strong knowledge base across multiple academic disciplines. Experience working with middle school students. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to motivate and mentor students of varying ability levels.
