Personalized Achievement Coordinator – Reeds Spring School District
The Reeds Spring School District is seeking a highly qualified professional to lead and teach in the district’s secondary alternative learning environment. The role plans, organizes, and coordinates the alternative learning environment, providing leadership in the area of instruction and intervention while performing classroom instruction duties based on student need.
Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Education.
- Must hold a Missouri Teaching Certificate in English, Math, or Special Education.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- Knowledge of student personalization and agency.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with multi‑tiered systems of support and intervention plans.
- Excellent organizational, oral and written communication, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams regarding student achievement in alternative learning environments.
- Must successfully pass a background check satisfactory to the Board of Education.
- Plans, collaboratively develops, and leads the instruction programming for students in the alternative learning environment (grades 7‑12) in collaboration with secondary administration.
- Collaborates with school staff to align academic and behavioral supports with appropriate interventions to increase student achievement.
- Develops, implements, and supports personalized learning practices that tailor instruction, intervention, and learning pathways to individual student strengths, needs, interests, and levels of readiness.
- Leads collaboration with staff and administrators to develop, implement, assess, and evaluate student services that support students in accessing alternative education programs and attaining a high school diploma and graduate competencies.
- Provides leadership to ensure equity for all students and values diversity in the classroom environment.
- Develops and coordinates innovative projects in the alternative learning environment.
- Facilitates staff development and the implementation of practices that cultivate student agency, supporting learners in setting goals, tracking progress, and making informed learning decisions within alternative or flexible environments.
- Delivers high‑quality, personalized instruction in the certification area.
- Maintains conduct suitable for working with students, district staff, and the public.
Reeds Spring School District has an enrollment of approximately 1,850 students in grades K‑12 and employs around 340 staff members. We are located about 35 minutes south of Springfield on beautiful Table Rock Lake and serve the communities of Reeds Spring, Branson West, Kimberling City, Cape Fair, and Indian Point. The district offers a competitive salary, a four‑day school week, and additional benefits.
