• Provide instruction in accordance with approved Imperial Valley College curriculum and course outlines as assigned based on the needs of the college.
• Conduct classes, prepare courses, evaluate students, create course syllabi, and assess learning outcomes.
• Maintain and submit accurate records (grades, syllabi, attendance reports) according to published deadlines.
• Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the position.
• Advise students on academic matters.
• Maintain competency in the field.

• Master’s in business, business management, business administration, accountancy, finance, marketing, or business education.
• OR Bachelor’s in any of the above.
• AND Master’s in economics, personnel management, public administration, or Juris Doctor / Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.).
• OR Bachelor’s in economics with a business emphasis.
• AND Master’s in personnel management, public administration, or Juris Doctor / Legum Baccalaureus (LL.B.).
• OR equivalent qualifications.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socio‑economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
