• Teach courses in Humanities in accordance with the approved curriculum and established course outlines.
• Prepare and deliver instruction, including class preparation, student evaluation, and development of course syllabus.
• Assess and evaluate student learning outcomes and submit accurate records (grades, syllabi, attendance reports) by published deadlines.
• Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the professional position.
• Advise students on academic matters.
• Maintain competency in the field.

• Master’s degree in Humanities, or equivalent education and experience.
• Evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socio‑economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students (AB 1725, 87360a).
