About the PositionCalifornia State University Channel Islands invites applications for a tenure‑track Assistant or Associate Professor position in Cybersecurity & AI within the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics. We are seeking an innovative and interdisciplinary scholar who will help develop and lead a forward‑thinking, applied curriculum that integrates cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and strategic business management. This faculty hire supports the MVS School’s emerging direction in blending cybersecurity and AI to equip students with the skills to strategically manage digital risk, lead ethical AI integration, and build organizational resilience in an increasingly data‑driven world.
A Doctoral degree (PhD, DBA, or equivalent) or ABD from an accredited institution in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Degree must be completed by August 1, 2026.
Required Qualifications- Demonstrated preparation to teach cybersecurity, AI, and/or information systems in a university setting.
