Classification: Certified Salary Position

Terms of Employment: Eleven month contract, responsible July 1 through June 30;
July days taken as time off per arrangement.

Reports To: Superintendent

Job Summary: The principal is responsible for the school attendance center, leading administration, directing instructional staff, fostering cooperation, and developing a comprehensive educational program that serves all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create master schedule and ensure smooth transition for teachers, staff, students, and families.
• Provide leadership and direction to instructional staff.
• Promote cooperation among teachers.
• Develop a comprehensive educational program designed to serve the needs of all students.
• Collaborate with other principals, supervisors, and teachers to develop school policies and practices.
• Lead in overall educational policies and practices of the district.
