Contra Costa County, CA | Inpatient (IP) & Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES)
Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients
- Manage acute psychiatric presentations in PES
- Provide coverage for adult inpatient psychiatry units
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner
- Support continuity of care during staffing gaps, leaves, or surge needs
- Strictly PRN / Per Diem
- No guaranteed hours
- Shifts offered based on facility need and provider availability
- Inpatient and PES coverage
- No call requirements outside scheduled shifts
