Key Responsibilities:

Conduct patient consultations, diagnose blood disorders and cancers, and develop personalized treatment plans. Manage and treat a variety of hematologic and malignant hematologic malignancies. Collaborate with nurses, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain a high standard of patient care and communication.

Qualifications:

Board-eligible or board-certified in Hematology-Oncology (fellowship preferred). Active medical license in good standing (no specific state requirement listed). ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required. Experience working in a combined hematology-oncology setting preferred. Excellent clinical skills, a strong knowledge base in hematology and oncology, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Benefits:

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, one week per month, with 24-hour on-call coverage for 1-2 weekends per month (please specify availability when applying). Support Staff:
You will be working alongside two full-time physicians and two full-time advanced practice providers within the clinic setting. Patient Population:
Primarily Hematology patients with some Oncology cases. Procedures:
Consultations, follow-ups (including possible bone marrow biopsies). Call Coverage:
On-call via beeper with some consultation required. You will be responsible for clinic patients, inpatients, and ER patients with Hematology and Oncology needs. Patient Mix:
