This locum tenens position has the potential to transition into a longer-term commitment. This unique position offers the chance to make a significant impact while enjoying a call-only schedule:
Focused Call Coverage:
Be readily available to manage neurological patient needs after-hours and on weekends, with an average of 10-20 calls per 24-hour period, typically resulting in 3 phone consultations, 4 in-person patient evaluations, and 3 admissions. Collaboration is Key:
Work alongside a team of skilled neurologists, hospitalists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Streamlined Workflow:
Utilize the familiar Cerner electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management. Temporary Commitment:
This locum tenens position offers flexibility, with an initial need from August 26th to September 2nd, 2024, and the possibility of ongoing call shifts. We Value Your Expertise:
We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Neurologist who possesses a valid medical license in the state of Missouri. Current certification in ACLS is mandatory. Fellowship training is preferred. Temporary privileges are not available for this opportunity. A Welcoming Community Awaits:
