Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial Surgery - Geisinger

We are seeking BC/BE oral and maxillofacial surgeons at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. The practice is CODA accredited, full-scope academic with emphasis on maxillofacial trauma, dentoalveolar and implant surgery, in‑office sedation, corrective jaw surgery, cleft palate, TMJ, reconstructive surgery. Ideal candidates will teach, work with residents, participate in research, enjoy dedicated faculty time.

• Interview patients, obtain symptoms, medical and family histories
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
• Diagnose and design plan of treatment for injuries and illnesses
• Prescribe or administer medications
• Prepare, maintain, and review records including histories, examination findings, treatment plans, outcomes
• Work in clinical and office environment, comply with policies and procedures

Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) required; dual‑degree DMD/DDS, MD acceptable.

Certification and License:
Doctor of Dental Medicine/Surgery (DMD, DDS) – State of Pennsylvania.

BC/BE oral and maxillofacial surgeon status preferred.
