Location: Louisiana
Overview
We are assisting a Louisiana hospital in their search for a physician to provide weekend pediatric hospitalist coverage. This opportunity offers a manageable call schedule and a low volume of pediatric admissions, making it ideal for providers looking for a balanced locums experience. The facility averages 300 newborn deliveries annually and uses Meditech for EMR.
Responsibilities- Provide weekend pediatric hospitalist coverage including out-of-house call coverage, nursery rounds, ED consults (primarily by phone), and attending high-risk deliveries.
- LA license required
- Friday 5pm – Monday 8am schedule
- Experience as a Pediatric Hospitalist
